How to rip DVD to iPad
Apple Inc. has just released its new and powerful product iPad. The iPad has a 9.7-inch (25 cm) LED backlit multi-touch display with a pixel resolution of 1024×768, 16 to 64 gigabytes (GB) of flash memory. This document provides a step-by-step tutorial on how to rip DVD movies to Apple iPad with Aura4You DVD Ripper.
Note that Aura DVD Ripper does not support ripping copy-protected DVDs. If you need to rip copy-protected DVDs to Apple iPad, you can use Aura DVD Copy to copy the DVD movie to a file folder in your computer, and then use Aura DVD Ripper to convert the movie to the iPad videos.

Step 1: Load DVD movies
1. Install and run Aura DVD Ripper
2. Insert your DVD disc to computer DVD drive
3. Click Open DVD and load the DVD to Aura DVD Ripper
Maybe you want to rip the whole DVD movie for your iPad, maybe not. With Aura DVD Ripper, you can choose chapter, title or specify a certain section of the movie to be converted.
Want to download YouTube videos for your iPad? No problem, just click YouTube button to prompt the box and put the url of YouTube videos in it, then click ok.
Subtitle and DVD angle are also selectable so that you can get exactly what you want in the output videos.

Step 2: Choose output format for iPad
Besides Apple iPad, Aura DVD Ripper supports dozens of output video formats and media players, and even game consoles like PS3 and Wii. All output profiles are ready-to-use.
Click on the Profile drop-down menu, and choose in "Apple iPhone" the Apple iPad MEPG-4 Movie as output profile.
Step 3: Start converting
After choosing iPad MP4 movie as output, click Convert to get it started.
If needed, Aura DVD Ripper can auto-shutdown your computer after completing conversion. You can enable this function by going to the menu “Options > Extras”, and select the “Shut down computer when encoding finished” option.
Step 4: Get converted iPad videos
Don’t know where the converted videos are? Relax. It’s very easy to get what have been ripped and converted by Aura DVD Ripper.
The left panel of the main window lists all source videos and converted videos there. Just click the Output Folder button below to get your converted iPad videos.
Or you can right-click on any selected video, and then choose Open File Location.
After you get the converted videos, transfer them into your iPad and then watch it on the go anytime you want!
